They are still under the EU rules until the official divorce papers are signed by all parties if I understand correctly how it's going right now.

But that being said, and with no offence to EC...the UK has been PC since before the formation of the EU. You think our media is left leaning...watch the BBC or read the Guardian.

They haven't allowed gun ownership in about 60-65 years IIRC.  It's a country conditioned to PC and views on immigration that Liberals here are trying to force on us as we speak.

We however have the chance to put the brakes on it right now and stop that mindset on immigration before it goes any farther.

I just hope we can.

Otherwise it's a good thing we have the 2nd Amendment in most states and we can protect ourselves from what is happening in Europe right now.

The CDP has a pretty strong coalition in in the Bundestag in Berlin and in the regional governments as well.

The only real thread is from the Socialist Democrat Party but thanks to the fragmentation of parties in Germany (Greens, Pirate Party, Alternative for Germany etc) they can't get a coalition together big enough to challenge the CDP.

Gotta remember...the normal beat cops in England don't even carry guns.  Terrorist there know they can do this stuff with little challenge.

That's what baffles me about these bombings.  Every single time lately the authorities KNEW or had interaction with the terrorist.

Yet they aren't jailed or otherwise shown the door and are left to do horrific things like this bombing.

In Israel, when a Palestinian rocket is fired, they demolish not only the house, but the entire block, from which it was fired.

Blow up the mosque with huge fanfare, ferris wheels, etc..  Open a Chick-fil-A.

We won't see the whole picture this side of eternity, but I know He loves those precious children that were killed more than their parents did... stop and think about that for a moment.
I don't have answers but I completely trust the One that died for me.  He is in control and He will bring about His will.  This is all we have, but thank God it is enough.

Germany has a population shortage....the birthrate replacement isn't ahead of the death rate over there.  They need bodies to fill jobs.

That was a good speech.  The problem is that he's sending mixed messages...one moment he's saying what he did in Saudi Arabia...the next he's thinking he can bring peach between Palestine and Israel and he staff is telling BiBi that Jerusalem isn't part of Israel.

He needs to stick to the "we will eliminate radical Islam" message...increase the size and strength of the military and go from there.

Mixed messages just give the enemy a loophole from which they can continue to operate.

I hate to agree about this, but you're correct:  Guns would not have stopped this one.

Guns would not have stopped this one but an unarmed populace is more docile and sheeplike than an armed one.  All being equal, I will take the armed populace.  I still carry everywhere and no, it wont stop everything but it will give me a chance to protect my family in some circumstances, which is better than not being able to protect in any circumstance

Radical Islam only respects force...they view anyone trying to negotiate with them as weak and someone to be exploited.

When it's suicide bombers, to me, that's the worse and it means the West or England, France and Belgium start to have to live like Israel.

They are already busting terrorists every few days there, often at least. So, this means one slipped through their security which seems fairly good.

Remember the articles posted, 10,000 jihadists are in the UK, something like that and that is from a Muslim population that is something like 3,000,000 out of 48,000,000, ball park figures.

We could see more of this and in other places.

I live close to Appomattox in Virginia.  Aside from being known for its historical status, it's rural farming country.  A few years ago some Muslims moved into the area and set up a paramilitary compound.  They're part of Muslims of America, which has these camps seeded all over the nation.  Fox News did a story on them and their acceptance of funding from radical sources overseas; they chased off the reporter and his crew.

Now when I run down to the Kroger or the Walmart in Appomattox, there are plenty of Muslims there, and they glare at you like they hate you.  I wouldn't be surprised if one of those stores gets blown sky high one day.  Sometimes when I come out and get into my car, I actually think, "Escaped again."
