A tweet from House Speaker Paul Ryan resurfaced on Monday afternoon soon after a report was published that President Trump revealed highly classified information to top Russian officials.

“Individuals who are ‘extremely careless’ with classified information should be denied further access to such info,” Ryan tweeted in July 2016, referring to former FBI Director James Comey’s statement that Hillary Clinton’s handling of sensitive information was “extremely careless.”
