@Oceander

He wouldn't know a "strategic plan" if it was labeled a "strategic plan" - in fact, someone would have to tell him what "strategic" meant.  While in that meeting, he bragged about getting great "intel", that he got great intel every day.

It was just months ago, in the late stages of the campaign that he was disparaging all the Intel services so nothing seems beyond the realm but I agree with @Frank Cannon this is probably fake and if I've noticed anything lately it's that the trumpsters have been particularly oversensitive lately and without them this place just wouldn't be the same, so let's give them some room to catch their breath.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Uh, I find Trump to be a scurrilous toad, but it seems to me that classified information is just one more bargaining chip that a president can choose to disclose or not in his or her discretion in performance of the office.  Certainly there are times when disclosing classified information, even to an enemy, is in the country's interests.

In other words, if Trump did so as part of a strategic plan, he's entitled to do so as president.

No. He's not.

Intel from his own agencies - sure. He can reveal that or not, as he pleases.

Intel from allies comes with it's own conditions, and permission to reveal any of it isn't normally one of them.

We have had 4 major stories break over the last 7 days based on "unnamed sources" that ended up being a total fabrication when the primary target of the accusation comes forward. Once again I got Jeff Bezos and his Leftist vendetta rag trying to convince people something happened without on singe source and McMasters, one of the very few people in the room and a fairly serious man, come out publicly and say the whole thing is a stack of bullshit.

The Commie Pinkos have stated openly that they will do absolutely anything to destroy this Presidency and the GOP including and not limited to murder. Anyone really think it is beyond the losers in the MSM to make up sources to shoehorn allegations into the American conversation? I think it is the very least they are trying to do. Fortunately most people do not bother getting their news from them anymore.

There is a reason Bezos payed way more for WaPo than it was worth, and it wasn't because he saw circulation magically going up.

Just as long as it is our guy doing it right? What would you be saying if Hillary had done it?

So I'm going to ask the obvious question if anyone actually CRITICALLY reads any of the absolute garbage word for word his rag publishes? And when I say word for word I mean critically think of every word chosen. Here's a start and this didn't take me long to grab these snippets and I only got half way through the article.

"according to current and former U.S. officials"

"officials said."

"provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement"

"The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia"

"officials said Trump’s decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally"

"senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage"

"This is code-word information,” said a U.S. official familiar with the matter"

"It was during that meeting, officials said, that Trump went off script"

"McMaster reiterated his statement in a subsequent appearance at the White House on Monday and described the Washington Post story as “false,” but did not take any questions"

"It is all kind of shocking,” said a former senior U.S. official who is close to current administration officials"

The above is the most absolute clap trap garbage dumpster fire reporting I've ever seen. The thing is read all their articles and they ARE ALL THE SAME.  Officials = democrat members of Congress. Partner = UN named ally whose leader hates Trump but probably made up. It then takes reading half way through the article until they input a quote from the White Hiuse calling this story false. Yet for anyone not critically reading past the headlines one would believe Trump has broken the law or Trump and his government are completely corrupt. And let's not forget the evil Russians are involved too.

When are folks going to wake the hell up that we have a media and a Congress hell bent on destroying and invalidating a duly elected president with innuendo? Nothing and I mean NOTHING has been proven to date whatsoever yet we are to fear this big boogeyman with what evidence!?  I'm not the biggest fan of some of the President's oolicies but won't allow banana republic tactics to win the day in my common sense.

All that you say is true, Frank.  Which leads one to wonder why supposed level-headed conservatives so quickly fall for these stories, jump gleefully onto the bandwagon and pronounce everything Trump's fault.

I understand the liberals landing on it like a bunch of vultures but why are we doing it?

Is this the GOP Briefing room or Hillary central?

Losing or being a loser is a bitter pill. People in that situation will do pretty much anything to convince themselves that they are not. Sad truth for them though is that it doesn't matter because they are irrelevant. The people who hate him hated him before the election and he was still elected.

Who the hell said that are "level headed conservatives"?  More like blockheads.

I said eighteen months ago they would become "forum terrorist/anarchists".

That's EXACTLY what they are.   They prefer to still fight the primary wars.

What Trump may or may not have said in that meeting doesn't bother me so much as how this crapola keeps getting leaked to the press.   The President's inner circle is disloyal.   Maybe Trump should fire every last one who in the room with him.

The 'it didn't happen' refers only to revealing sources and methods.
Not to the fact that classified national security information was revealed.

Now the AP is reporting that the Russians are saying it didn't happen. Trump will now turn and point to the media he says is fake news and the Russians he called liars last week and declare that they're telling the truth.

However Trump effectively admitted it was true this morning when he tweeted some disjointed BS about it enhancing airline security and the fight against ISIS.

That would be the openly scheduled W.H. meeting where he didn't allow American media in but did allow Russian "media" in.

Pretty much.

I wonder how long it will take them to start saying that Trump didn't really make that admission on his Twitter account this morning...that it was hacked.   :silly:

But only if it makes Trump and/or the GOP look bad.  Democrats are bloody saints, ya know.
