Actually, I've noticed how frequently Trump Supporters have the same positions as the left/Democrats, when it comes to Big Government "solutions" for things that Government shouldn't be involved in.
You need to check the prescriptions in your glasses, then.
For you didn't see the budget cuts in EPA, for example. Plus many other decidedly conservative positions, in education (choice), energy policy (coal), better border security, increased national security spending just to name a few.
As far as "things that Government shouldn't be involved in," it is Trump's win that makes dealing with them at all, possible.
I contend that like him or not, Trump was the only candidate that could defeat the democrats. To think otherwise is delusional.
My initial favorite candidates fared poorly from the start, and were out. But I saw and understood the steamroller effect of Trump's candidacy.
