Am I alone, noticing how frequently the #nevertrump obsessed have the same positions, as the left/democrats?

Almost like they are on morning distribution lists for the same talking points.

Actually, I've noticed how frequently Trump Supporters have the same positions as the left/Democrats, when it comes to Big Government "solutions" for things that Government shouldn't be involved in.

You need to check the prescriptions in your glasses, then.

For you didn't see the budget cuts in EPA, for example. Plus many other decidedly conservative positions, in education (choice), energy policy (coal), better border security, increased national security spending just to name a few.

As far as "things that Government shouldn't be involved in," it is Trump's win that makes dealing with them at all, possible.

I contend that like him or not, Trump was the only candidate that could defeat the democrats. To think otherwise is delusional.

My initial favorite candidates fared poorly from the start, and were out. But I saw and understood the steamroller effect of Trump's candidacy.

Comey had started the process of convening a federal grand jury to give them evidence of the Russian connection with the Trump campaign.  Trump/Sessions had to stop that happening.  Sessions used the man on the job for two weeks to put that letter together for Trump to fire him.  The federal grand jury is now stopped, just as Trump/Sessions wanted.

Comey had also just days ago asked for more money and personnel for this investigation and the person he had to ask was the new guy, the same guy who wrote the letter to fire Comey.

Trump is pissed because there is a perception, fanned by the media and Trump-haters -- that Trump is being investigated by the FBI.  It's red meat for the people who opposed him in the general election.  But that isn't true -- he's not being investigated, and Grassley basically begged Comey to come out and say that because the perception puts the Presidency under a cloud.  But Comey wouldn't do that, under the ridiculous rationale that identifying someone as not being under investigation could lead to a process of elimination series of inquires to identify who is. 

So instead, he perpetuates the media myth that Trump is under investigation for Russian ties, and further looks to be dragging out this investigation indefinitely.  Which has the effect of placing Trump under a false cloud of suspicion.
