How Bad Is the Democratic Senate Map for 2018?
Analysis

Right now, the stars seem aligned for Democratic gains in 2018. President Trump’s approval rating is low, Democrats lead in the House generic ballot and special elections show Republicans losing ground with some voters. It’s still a long way to the midterms and Trump’s approval might change drastically, but almost all of the early tea leaves seem positive for the out-party.

Except for the Senate map.

The reneging on the biggest promise the Pubs ran on for 7 years, elect us and we will repeal obamacare, is going to hurt the Pubs. The SCOTUS is "safe" for now so that's not going to be a rallying point. Tax cuts are not going to be a big deal to most voters, since most don't pay any. The only thing working for the Pubs is the Rats. They are so radical and strident that a lot of voters won't go back to supporting them.

I think the Pubs are on the verge of throwing away the massive shift that has occurred because of obama. They gained the House, the Senate and now the Presidency and the end result is the only difference between them and the Rats is they will move us to the left a little slower than the Rats.

With the wall no longer in the budget and healthcare still teetering back and forth the GOP blew it big time...IMHO all thanks to RINO Ryan ... what a putz ... he has handed them at least a couple of seats. There still is time for the GOP to get more of their act together before the mid terms, but things don't look too promising right now.

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

As for the wall, I thought that Mexico was going to pay for it?? Also, why did Trump sign the budget??? But of course the ye olde blame game is much more fun..

As for why things are not moving fast, guess what this Government was setup so things don't move fast at all..
