What Ivanka And Cecile Richards Discussed During Their Meeting Has Been Leaked, And It Exposes Planned Parenthood

It was widely reported several months ago that Ivanka Trump met with Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards. Although the details of the meeting were not made known at the time, such a meet-up worried those who value life in the womb.

Ivanka now has an official role in the White House, and was even rumored to have influenced her father's decision to take action in Syria. In other words, a well-known progressive, New York-style liberal feminist who has major influence over the POTUS was chatting it up with the leader of the scandal-ridden and foremost abortion mill in the United States.

Again, this was not exactly music to the ears of pro-lifers.

Although Ivanka's tendency to reach out to Planned Parenthood in the first place seems problematic, a New York Times piece published last week exposed that the First Daughter actually pitched a solution to Planned Parenthood that would be deemed a step in the right direction for most pro-lifers. Here's what Ivanka proposed:

Planned Parenthood should split in two, Ms. Trump suggested, with a smaller arm to provide abortions and a larger one devoted to women’s health services. White House officials said Ms. Trump was trying to find a common-sense solution amid the roar of abortion politics.

Ivanka, unsurprisingly, was turned down:

But Planned Parenthood officials said they thought Ms. Trump’s advice was naïve, failing to understand how central reproductive choice was to the group’s mission.
