Ferguson protester featured in iconic photo dies

 Susan Miller  , USA TODAY Published 12:38 p.m. ET May 6, 2017 | Updated 5 hours ago

He is a compelling presence in an American flag T-shirt, hair flying as smoke and flames race behind him on an electric summer night.

One hand grasps a small bag of chips, the other a tear gas canister, poised for flight.

The powerful image, taken four days after a white police officer fatally shot unarmed black teen Michael Brown, captured the flash point that was Ferguson., Mo., in August 2014.

Now, the man featured in the photo, which was part of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Pulitzer Prize-winning photo coverage of the Ferguson protests, has died.

The St. Louis County medical examiner’s office says Edward Crawford Jr.’s death on Thursday was reported as a suspected suicide.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

What kind of person finds a picture of a rioter with chips and a tear gas canister 'compelling'.

The same kind of person who writes that the thug Michael Brown was an "unarmed teen".

Or the same ones who think out of control rioting mayhem and arson constitute "largely peaceful protests"
God is still in control
