Warren: After Trump, ‘I Wonder if America Will Ever Be Ready for a Male President Again’

by Alex Seitz-Wald

On the heels of a cross-country book tour that has stoked speculation about a 2020 presidential run, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren told a women's group Wednesday night that they will help put a woman in the White House soon enough.

Warren delivered the keynote address at the annual fundraising gala for Emily's List, which works to elect female Democrats, stepping into the same role Hillary Clinton played in early 2015, weeks before he announced her presidential campaign.

IF she plans on running in 2020; she's going to need a whole lot more going into the game than being female.  She should learn something from her friend Hillary.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

This old bag will be lucky to be reelected. She should be worrying about that. My Masshole friends seem to be excited about some guy named Geoff Diehl to run against her.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
Wow, what sniveling bigotry. Let's just lump all men into the same straw bogeyman.
The Republic is lost.

Most of the "not brain dead world," isn't concerned about the gender of the POTUS.

One of my heartbroken liberal friends, a huge Hillary supporter, lamented that there would never be a woman president -- because we are all gender biased.  I said there would be a female president if we could find one who can do the job.

Hillary was not elected because she was female.  She lost because she's a flaming socialist who was incompetent in the jobs she did have, and there was no reason to believe she would be a competent president.
