Leftist Newcomer Demands Small Town Accept Syrian Refugees

As images of dead Syrian children flashed across his television this month in Montana, David LeBleu prayed it would finally change minds.

“Could this be our chance?” he wondered, the Helena Independent-Record reports.

LeBleu, 73, had been campaigning for a year to bring refugees to his tiny mountainside town of Whitefish. But in conservative Flathead County, he was making little headway.

I bet if he wanted to bring in properly vetted Christian refugees, things would work out. 

You notice he moved there for the people, the scenery and the life style and the FIRST thing he wants to do is change all but the scenery.

And people wonder why we don't expend a lot of excess neighborliness on the Ann Arborites who come to our little town looking for a "bedroom community" to remake in their own image. It took a decade before I was accepted as a local and I'm from a small rural town in the county.

And put up with complaints about no running water and missing toilets? Like hell. Owning rentals in the ghetto means you never have to lift a finger except to open the rent envelopes.
