Schumer: Trump's border wall can't pass Senate

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) signaled Monday that Democrats won't support money for the U.S.-Mexico border wall during a fall funding showdown.

"I don't think it can pass. ... There's a lot of negativity on the wall on both the Democratic and Republican sides," Schumer told reporters when asked if his side would take the same strategy on the fiscal 2018 bill.

So, for those more knowing of Congressional procedure than I, can some of these things be reintroduced in a spending reconciliation bill where 60 isn't needed to pass in the Senate, or by statute?

The cost of the wall isn't in the continuing resolution funding Obama's budget ending Sept 30, 2017 @libertybele   My money's still on the cost being included in President Trump's budget (along with other "R" changes).  And by then the administration will have chosen a contractor and will be set to go.
