Former Sen. Jim DeMint is expected to be replaced as president of the conservative Heritage Foundation, The New York Times reported.
The anticipated shake-up comes as the budget, tax reform and healthcare — all issues the foundation has tried to influence — are before Congress, according to the newspaper.
Politico reported an announcement about DeMint's future at the think tank could come as early as Friday.
