President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign has spent $274,000 on Trump Tower rent, according to a new report.
The payments for the New York City workspace came in the first three months of 2017, The Huffington Post said Monday.
HuffPo said that worked out to a monthly average of $91,000, more than half of what Trump’s campaign was paying during the height of the 2016 race.
Trump’s reelection bid has 20 employees so far, the media outlet continued, versus the 168 employees with a New York City address on the campaign’s payroll last year.
HuffPo said the Trump campaign did not respond to queries regarding the payments from earlier this year.
