Recently, I heard popular host Glenn Beck state that he had eliminated the word “evil” from his vocabulary, the rationale being that he believed it would thwart efforts for conservatives to “come together” with their political opponents to solve the problems facing our nation.

I acknowledge the fact that Beck has done a lot over the years toward educating his audience concerning the machinations of global socialists, first on Fox News television and later through his online network, The Blaze. However, as I’ve indicated previously, sometimes the host goes too far in his self-styled Mormon flower-child modality with regard to the reality of dealing with said political opponents, their ruthlessness, lack of ethics and intractability.

The problem with socialism goes beyond just running out of other people's money.

It punishes the productive parts of an economy and subsidizes the unproductive. It distorts human behavior all around. Socialism assumes that people will work for the "community" and give up their own pursuit of self interests

The problem with socialism is that it's coerced. Voluntary collective action is normal and common and...voluntary. If you don't like what's being done then you can leave the group you joined.

I totally agree with Erik Rush on this.  Beck has gone off the deep end ....completely.  Eliminating the biblical word "evil" from his vocabulary now just cements this previous theory. 

You have to first identify a problem in order to combat it.  Refusing to call a spade a spade, or evil an evil, is the equivalent of burying your head in proverbial sand (or somewhere else equally dark).   Haven't listened to Beck in years, but I posit that he is trying to create sensationalism with his comments for ratings.... a la Rush-style.  It's not working, I suspect.
