While leaks can be effective, they need to be done well, and timely. Mishandled or uncontrolled they will burn you.
That's a legit criticism of the Trump admin. Not only do they have too many leaks, it allows for media outlets to slip in fake news and all sorts of other games. It makes it look like Trump doesn't have control over his admin, and completely muddies things so it's hard to know the truth.
Trump needs to lock it down and soon.
