Supporters of President Trump held a rally today in Berkeley, California.

Hundreds of far left Antifa thugs turned out to disrupt the protest and beat heads.

The police were no where in sight.

The police were no where to be seen when hundreds of Antifa thugs interrupted the pro-Trump rally.

Just saw this. I found it very disturbing. Where were the police or national guard?

There's a core group on both sides who view it as just a version of their own fight club. They come looking for a fight.

Well the lessen may have been to fight back and not take what the fascist throw at you. On the other hand I'm not sure this isn't the National Socialist vs. Communist.

I suppose it makes me a mental midget but I admit i get some satisfaction seeing the leftists with their scary bandannas and black outfits not only failing to shut down a group of Americans exercising their constitutionally garaunteed right of assembly and free speech but being humiliated in the process.

Maybe thisll cause some to rethink their rather fascistic worldview now. But  I doubt it.

It at least gives an idea of who were the Trump supporters.

Except that the left is using violence to prevent others from peacefully assembling, and the right is trying to protect the right to assemble peacefully

Looking only at the fighting itself, without asking what each side is fighting for, would lead one to conclude there was no moral difference between the Axis and Allies in WW2.

When Trump people try to shut down peaceful rallies being held by the left, then acknowledge some equivalency.
