Bill O'Reilly announces he's taking a vacation amid sexual harassment scandal

Bill O’Reilly reportedly announced at the end of his show on Tuesday evening that he was leaving for a pre-planned vacation and would return in a couple of weeks.

“We all need R&R. Put it to good use,” he told his viewers on Tuesday’s episode of "The O’Reilly Factor," Variety reported.

The respite comes as the embattled Fox News host faces a sexual harassment scandal after The New York Times reported that he had paid $13 million to five different women who accused him of sexual harassment.

O’Reilly insisted during his program that his trip was scheduled “last fall.” He will reportedly return to his show on April 24.
