Susan Collins mulling Maine gubernatorial run

Maine Sen. Susan Collins is considering another run for governor.

“I am looking at where I can do the most good for the people of Maine,” the Republican senator told Newsradio WGAN in an interview Tuesday.

Collins unsuccessfully ran for governor in 1994, losing to her now-independent Senate colleague Angus King.

If elected, Collins would become the first female governor in Maine.

Is her senate seat up for reelection in 2018?  If so, then I fully support her run for governor.  Actually, I support it anyway.  It's just that if the senate seat is up in 2018 I hope she loses the gubernatorial election, whereas if the senate seat isn't up I hope she wins it.

She is terrible no matter where he is in elected office. She a Progressive hack and worthless on everything. She went against DeVos just so she could curry favor with ME Leftists for her Gov run. Absolutely pathetic.

Can another Pub let alone conservative get elected in a statewide federal election?  Their lone GOP house member has an ACU rating of 65, and the other district is heavily Dem.
