President Donald Trump is starting over on tax reform, according to a Monday report on Fox News.

A White House official told Fox that every option remains on the table, and a detailed plan is weeks away.

The White House is aiming to be more active in working on the reforms after the failure to enact healthcare. Secretary of Treasury Steven Mnuchin set an August deadline for tax reform, but that deadline appears unlikely to be met, according to Fox News.

Historians pay attention to patterns over time.  Here's a few you may have noticed too.

[1] When cities face budget shortfalls the very first things they begin to cut are firemen and police.

[2] When our fearless leaders in Washington talk about tax reform the last groups they address are our vets and retirees.

[To-Whose-Benefit?]

Tax Reform.

I know people who are as upset over gay marriage as they are over murdering the unborn.

And they cite it as a 10th Amendment Violation.

Challenging it under the 10th will get them nowhere.

We've caved on so many other fronts that now we are stuck with gay marriage too.

It is not a State's Rights problem.

It is a Tax Code thing.

To get rid of it we are now stuck with the impossibility of getting rid of tax breaks for married couples.

And the 1st and 14th Amendments supersede the 10th on it.
