Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said misogyny "certainly" played a role in her U.S. presidential election defeat by Republican rival Donald Trump.

In her first interview since losing the 2016 U.S. election, Clinton said the prospect of electing the first woman president was exciting for some Americans, but threatening to others.

"Certainly, misogyny played a role. And that just has to be admitted," Clinton told an audience of about 3,000 people at the Women in the World Summit in New York on Thursday.

Dear Hillary:

People did not vote against you because you are a woman. They voted against you because you're a bitch.

She openly ran a campaign saying that people should vote for her because she's a woman.  She chose to make her campaign about gender, so if that backfired against her, that was her mistake.

Sure it did.

Bill's misogyny towards his rape victims - and your blind eye on the matter - turned off a lot of voters, Hillary.
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

Oh please!  My uber-liberal friends who couldn't wait for Hillary to become the first woman president are still wailing and gnashing their teeth because Hillary lost.  They are depressed, angry, bitter little snowflakes, who just can't seem to move on. One of them told me what Hillary is saying -- that no one wants a woman president and that's why she lost.  Now that Hillary is getting on in years, the possibility of her running again is slim; so these poor, sad women despair of ever seeing a female president.

Personally, I don't care if the candidate is black, white, male, female, whatever.  I want a candidate who is reputable, who will adhere to the Constitution and who is competent enough to do the job.  Hillary has been suspected of numerous crimes and she was a disaster in the public offices she held.  And, like most liberal socialists, she believes the Constitution is an outdated piece of paper.  It has nothing to do with her gender, just as it had nothing to do with Obama's race. Being a woman or a black person is not a qualification for the presidency.

Well, my wife, daughter and daughter-in-law (who leans to the more liberal side of Libertarian) voted against Hillary. 42% of women in general voted against Hillary. There are a lot of female misogynists out there.

Dear Hillary:

People did not vote against you because you are a woman. They voted against you because you're a bitch.

I second that emotion!  She's a conniving bitch at that. She is also claiming Russian interference in the election and the FBI's Comey as well led to her defeat.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

And those are some of her better qualities...
