Sen. Marco Rubio is suggesting a connection between the deadly chemical attack in Syria and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's recent remarks about the war-torn country's president, Bashar Assad.

Tillerson said the Syrian people will decide Assad's "longer-term status."

Rubio said Tillerson had essentially nodded "to the idea that Assad was going to get to stay in some capacity."

As for what Marco says, I think one could analyze and say this chemical attack did not happen until the US made these statements. It's unfortunate that one could not make these kinds of innocuous statements and then say, look at what the Syrian government did right after.

We are getting a plateful of these foreign events.

Syria is allied with North Korea. They have a park in Syria that honors NK leaders.

A lot is going on, I hope these powers including Iran and perhaps Russia in an indirect way, don't gang up on us.
