White House to be lit in blue for autism awareness

The White House will be lighted in blue on Sunday in honor of World Autism Awareness Day.

"I invite all Americans to Light it Up Blue, which Melania and I will do at the White House," President Trump said in an announcement Friday.

"I call upon all Americans to learn more about the signs of autism to improve early diagnosis, understand the challenges faced by those with autism spectrum disorders, and to do what they can to support individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families," he added.

I think this is a wonderful undertaking.  It leads me to wonder again if Baron is autistic?

I'm in favor. It's one of the things the presidency is particularly suited for - kicking things out of the shadows and into conversation.

I believe we have at least one member who is personally affected by autism in the family.  Thank you for sharing Mystery-ak.  A worthy cause.
