UPDATE: Bodies of 2 UN experts, including Goshen native, found in Congo
BENI, Congo (AP) Congolese authorities say the bodies of an American and a Swedish U.N. expert and their interpreter have been found in the Central Kasai region where they recently disappeared.
One of the U.N. experts was Michael Sharp, a Goshen native and Bethany Christian graduate.
Police inspector general Charles Bisengimana said Tuesday the bodies of the two U.N. experts were identified after being found Monday.

They were there investigating human rights violations by all sides, Government and Militias per the article. Whatever is going on there, is pretty bad. I wonder what language they were interpreting? French or tribal languages? Anyway, it seems like a very bad situation.
