The Oakland Raiders will move to Las Vegas after garnering enough votes from NFL owners on Monday to relocate to Southern Nevada.

The Raiders received 31 of 32 votes to approve the move. Twenty-four votes were needed. The Miami Dolphins were the only team to vote against the move, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Interesting.... I have to think that the business model for a Vegas Raiders fan base will be significantly different from most (or all) other NFL markets.

I can't say I disagree with this one. The Bay Area can live with just one pro football team, Oakland's stadium (unlike San Diego's) was an irredeemable dump, and quite frankly the money wasn't there for a replacement other than some halfhearted efforts.

I imagine when the visiting team visits Las Vegas, it will be like homefield advantage for both the Raiders and the visiting team..
