President Donald Trump addressed the nation briefly Friday after Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the Republican health care bill from a scheduled floor vote, stressing that “we were very close, and it was a very, very tight margin.”

“We had no Democrat support.  We had no votes from the Democrats,” the president said. “They weren’t going to give us a single vote, so it’s a very difficult thing to do.”

What they put out there wasn't even a bandaid, it was a rearrangement of the already existing setup. We need to start over and do it right.

I don't think they have any intention of repealing and replacing. They never did. Otherwise, they would have taken the time, which they had oodles of, and written a bill that was right.

Trump and most GOP Reps ran on Repeal and Replace, not repeal alone.

Ryan should be repealed and replaced. Not sure THIS GOP can or would do this, even though it is entirely the proper response to his massive failure.
