Nunes: Need to Know Who Requested Unmasking of Names in Widely Disseminated Intel Reports

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), chairman of the House intelligence committee, says the names of American citizens picked up in legal, incidental intelligence collection normally should not find their way into intelligence reports.

But in November, December and January, the names of Americans involved in the Trump transition apparently were “widely disseminated,” according to reports Nunes said he has seen.

“Names for sure, if they are picked up in an incidental collection of any kind, they should be minimized,” Nunes told Fox News’s Sean Hannity Thursday night.
