@Right_in_Virginia, why do you address people as "dear" and "sweetie" when they're anything but, as far as you're concerned?

Why don't you climb on off your broomstick and give it a rest for a refreshing change of pace?

Please ... post more often @XenaLee .  Laughing is good for the soul.   88finger point

Yes, indeed.  It's officially RINO hunting season.  Taking names and making notes for 2018.

Thanks, Trump.

It's funny how close 2018 is getting, isn't it?

Trump supporters sure are 'testy' today, can't imagine why?

This is great.  We finally got a Republican President and Republican Congress, and our strategy is to wait for the 2018 midterms.

We deserve to lose.

It looks like it is going to be a 'leave it' - it is being reported Ryan is pulling the TRyanCare bill, not only does he not have the votes, he is losing the votes he had.

Loss for Donny and Pauly.

I wouldn't bet your farm on that.  We've dismissed Trump about ten thousand times on this forum and he's still running the show.

How many threads did we have calling Trump a madman and irresponsible tweeter for the surveillance tweet?  And what's happened now?  The illegal surveillance and the former president are being seriously investigated.  Would that have happened without the tweet?

And why was the tweet so universally known?  Because the media and leftists couldn't wait to make fun of Trump about it.

Supposedly there is to be a vote today at roughly 3:30 EST.

The current crisis is at the hands of the Freedom Caucus.

Nope. It is at the hands of the RINO's who refuse to keep their promises.

That was a major backfire for the idiot left and their lamestream media pressholes..... except for the fact that many (if not most) Americans will never even hear about how Trump was right....

unless they listen to conservative talk shows or watch Fox News, that is.

Nope. It is at the hands of the RINO's who refuse to keep their promises.

The vast majority of those RINO's previously qualified their promise to repeal ObamaCare with a promise to replace it and keep certain things in place.  They'd actually be breaking their promises if they did vote for a straight repeal with no replacement.

Probably more due to the broomstick's battery needing recharging.   :silly:

Not exactly.  We all know the Republicans are a varigated species... some are far too liberal.  Another serious flaw is that they are far more independent of their leadership than democrats.

Democrats would vote for a slit sandwich if Obama told them to and he did and they did.

I heard a guy ask Sean Spicer if including defunding of Planned Parenthood wasn't a drawback.

People keep telling me that Obamacare is collapsing of its own failures.  If this is so, can't we just step aside and watch that happen.  Just talking here, not really serious.

Only parts of it might collapsed, and only in certain states.  But the Medicaid expansion, mandates on employer insurance, etc., will all survive.  That may be what we end up with if we can't agree on anything else.

It is a little scary how uninformed so many Americans are and it's not exactly their fault but in a way it is.  I only listen to Fox News.  I can dismiss their bias and still realize I am getting the news.

An example is that situation in a Maryland high school where a 14 year old was raped by two illegal aliens aged 17 and 18.  It is a big trial there and involves the fact that it occurred in a sanctuary city and the officials refuse to let the immigration status of the perpetrators be introduced at trial.  I saw this on Fox this morning and apparently there is a news blackout on this story everywhere else.

Its not a flaw, its a primary feature of federalism and a selling point of conservatism.

What you're pushing is good ole top down obedience to our betters progressivism.

Here's what annoys the hell out of me with conservatives @bolobaby --- and it has nothing to do with the regard I have for the President.

Conservatives are politically stupid.  Just plain stupid.

Democrats have different factions, just like Republicans.  And yet they manage time and again to hold together and advance their agenda---even if it's one inch at a time.

But conservatives demand all or nothing---ignoring the repeated fact that they keep getting nothing and end up stalling their own agenda.   And this in turn makes conservatives even more of a political pariah--unable to work well with others and perfectly content to run back to their Ivory Towers without having advanced the quality of American life... well, not even one inch.

THIS, dear @bolobaby is real Kabuki Theater.   **nononono*

Bull. Right now, we have the entire government. We could pass any agenda we want.

It's the squishy spines like Ryan and Trump that fail to seize that opportunity.

I can only imagine how different it would be under President Cruz.
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

We weren't talking about waiting for the midterms.  We were talking about the house members giving serious thought to the midterms before they face the public in 2018.

Amen to that!
