MSNBC's Matthews slams 'Mr. Nice Guy' Gorsuch: 'It's not his turn'
By Joe Concha - 03/22/17 08:34 AM EDT

MSNBC's Chris Matthews is imploring Democrats to vote against President Trump's Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch because "it's not his turn."

The host of "Hardball" during his latest show cited Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R-Ky.) decision to not act on President Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland following the unexpected death of Justice Antonin Scalia.

Trump "wants Democrats to join Republicans in giving his pick the 60 votes to override the expected filibuster," said Matthews during his nightly "Trump Watch" commentary.

I didn't think you could filibuster a Supreme Court nominee

So ridiculous.  Many questioning Gorsuch (including DEMS) voted for him during the Bush administration.  He received unanimous approval.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
