A Ford, a Meijer, a DeVos, a Penske are not surprising but... a Moron too? 
Matty Moroun is largely responsible for much of the rot in Detroit and to a lesser extent in Windsor as well. He owns the Detroit city council and many of the famous ruins in Detroit like the train station. He also owns the Ambassador bridge which isn't in much better shape than the train station and is the second busiest freight crossing on the continent (til it falls in the river)
Something not Kosher about the Ambassador bridge situation anyway. Warren Buffet used to be half owner because it legally needed to be owned on both sides of the border if it was in private hands. Some of the earliest wikileaks stuff also included communications between Maroun and Kwame Kilpatrick plotting to seize control of the Windsor tunnel. He also gave Kilpatrick's wife a half million dollars to "Help you through these trying times" when Kwame went to prison.
