For Democrats, no clear leader
By Jonathan Easley - 03/21/17 06:00 AM EDT

The Democratic Party has a leadership vacuum at the top, with many registered voters eager to see someone who is not currently on the scene become the party’s standard-bearer in 2020, according to a new Harvard-Harris Poll survey provided exclusively to The Hill.

When registered voters were asked whom they view as the leader of the Democratic Party, 40 percent said it has no leader.

Fifteen percent named former President Obama as the party’s leader. Twelve percent said Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who has gone out of his way not to join the Democratic Party despite running for the its presidential nomination last year.

Who was the GOP's "clear leader" prior to Trump?

It means nothing.

Can't find one of their own elite dumb enough to stand up and take the heat - this early in the election cycle - for his fellow travelers.

I thank the Lord everyday that this guy is an equal opportunity destroyer, he laid the demonrats to waste, also.

Why Obama Is Still the Head of the Democratic Party

 By: Joseph Curl,

March 21, 2017

Hillary Clinton wandered off into the woods after her devastating defeat last November. Sen. Bernie Sanders went back to being a tiny shrill voice in the Senate, where he'll rarely be heard again. And the Democratic Party has few bright, young rising stars in its ranks (no, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, 67, does not count as one).

So the rudderless party is really being run by a has-been, a guy who already served his time and walked off into the sunset: Barack Obama.

According to a new poll, 40 percent of those surveyed said the Democratic Party currently has no leader. But the Harvard-Harris Poll survey provided exclusively to The Hill found that 15 percent think Obama is the party’s leader; 12 percent say Sanders (although he's an independent and has never officially joined the party); 11 percent say Warren.

Just 1 in 10 named Hillary as the Democrats' leader.

I think the fury that Obama felt when the extension of his reign (Hillary) lost has actually jolted him into action.

I think he's working harder now than he ever did when he was president and being as royally financed.  Who owns the plane that is apparently at his disposal?  The one he flew on a little joy ride down to Hawaii to strong arm his buddy judge into ruling against Trump's travel plan.

He's moved into a house (don't know if it's white) that's basically headquarters for his shadow presidency and his fight against Trump and for his own nefarious policies.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.
