Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu (Calif.) got cozy with MSNBC on Thursday when he name-checked the news network as a remedy for opposing "fake news."

MSNBC host Ali Velshi asked Lieu about recently cosponsoring  a resolution that calls for "opposing fake news and alternative facts."

I'm surprised. He's right.

The first step in opposing fake news is learning to recognise it. That means you gotta watch some.

The best fight against fake news is to not just read  or watch one or two sources

Either this congressman is exceedingly stupid or he's just saying that just to be complementary to the host
