Trump hiring Goldman Sachs executives  doesn't rile me up.

However, Ted Cruz was raked over the coals by Trump supporters because his wife worked for them.

Lets not forget, Ted Cruz was "Owned" by GS because he took out a loan from them and paid it back.

I am a huge Cruz supporter and I too see the hypocrisy in Trump hiring Sachs execs, but IMHO, with all the 'leaks' going on I don't think there are a whole lot of people with the experience needed that he feels he can trust and reaching out to people he's known and has dealt with in the past.

Personally, I don't care who he hires, but it does bother me that during the campaign, GS was evil, but now GS is ok.  And no one from the Trump camp seems to care about the hypocrisy or be willing to explain the change in position.

It boils down to a lack of integrity and moral character. Granted, Obama and Clinton lowered the bar on integrity and character, but for some of us, those qualities are still important.  If Trump truly wanted to be different -- truly "drain the swamp" -- he would do his utmost to maintain a higher degree of integrity.  He's not doing so.

I have a doctor I go to that I despise. Total freaking buffoon that seems to be a little pissed nobody recognizes him to be the God that he is. He even whined to me one day about a local car dealership "not selling me the car at wholesale,and here I am,one of the most prominent surgeons around!" COMPLETE pompous ass.

I go to him because he IS a good doctor. In fact,he saved my life one night,or around 5 AM to be more precise,by coming in after the ER called him to perform emergency surgery on me.  That doesn't mean I like him and want to be good buds with him.

Completely. I have no idea if he has been sued for Malpractice or not,and he gives me NOTHING. I just don't like his "God Complex". I realize almost all medical doctors,especially surgeons,have this complex,but with most of them it is hidden a little,not visable in screaming neon above their heads.

Then again,I don't go to him because I like him or want to be his buddy. I go to him for medical treatment.
