Hopefully, Trump will listen to Cruz over this health insurance fiasco that is currently going on.
Maybe together they can straighten that out, before we get a brand new bad government controlled health care plane, replacing this last bad one we had.

I'm hoping that they're going to discuss what's going on with Sessions, Rosenstein and the whole wire tapping accusation. Though I think we need Ted in the Senate ... he'd be an excellent Attorney General or Deputy Attorney General.  Appointing Rosenstein is a mistake.

I hear sarcasm dripping from your mouth Frank.  Based on what has previously been done it isn't far fetched but I would hope not.  If he tried anything like that you and all the others wouldn't have a leg to stand on when people comment negatively.  It would be well deserved.  Already is. In a very real sense that is exactly the type of hype Trump managed to build. Crafting a narrative around lyind Ted the way a director does with the "bad" guy they want the audience to kick of the Island. It was all a show and I think Cruz knew that, but had very little he could do to change it when Trump and the media had him from both sides. Rush has tried to articulate this. Trump doesn't operate the same way most of us do. Words are simply tools to him; you say what you have to say to make the sale.

Good assessment.   I have come to realize Trump uses his words,  his  mannerisms,  and his acts,  as weapons.    He is a canny communicator,  and many people underestimate his skill at this.   


They focus on trivial aspects of what he says,  while the larger message gets through to the intended audience.

What is wrong with you Trumpsters? The election's over, Orange Julius is residing at the White House, and there's a helluva lot of work to get done. No doubt, some good things have happened so far, but he's near halfway through his first 100 days, and a lot of time has been wasted on tweets and other sideshows.

They BOTH want insurance competition across state lines.  Cruz won a case to the supreme court that allowed for sale of contact lens across state lines, that DID drive down the cost of contact lens and other medical goods.

We may be surprised what kind of 'Deal' they come up with.  And remember, Kelly Anne is a mutual colleague / friend.

Not happy that the two of them are now buddy-buddy after the campaign .  I feel as if I was duped into believing what was a reality show, disguised as a campaign.  I admire Ted Cruz for a number of reasons -- his well thought out plan for dealing with Obamacare, for example -- but I can't trust him and am sorry I once did.

Sad to read the vitriol on Trump Republic.  Those people still believe the lies and conspiracy theories spread by Trump and his minions  about Ted Cruz and his family. For them the reality show is still on.

You are a charter member of the Camp Grumpy that still lives here.

Ted Cruz is a good man.  I wish he were President and maybe he will be.  He is not sleeping with the enemy ... he's not even eating with the enemy.

He's dining with the only president we have right now and I love it.  Any influence Ted has on Trump will be for the better.

He could join you in pouting or he could try to help Trump be a good president.  That's what he's doing.
