House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi panned Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ recusal from investigations related to last year’s presidential election as “insufficient” and “totally unacceptable” Friday morning, telling the audience at a POLITICO Playbook breakfast that it is “a reflection of the weak moral authority of this administration.”

Pelosi was one of the first Democrats to call for Sessions’ outright resignation Wednesday evening after The Washington Post reported that the attorney general had met multiple times with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. during the presidential campaign. Sessions’ meetings came at the height of Russian efforts to meddle in the election to the benefit of President Donald Trump, for whom Sessions was a high-profile surrogate.

I don't know if Sessions has the stomach for the fight.  It appears the years in the Senate have softened him.   That's why I believe Rudy would have been better.

Jeff Sessions WAS and operative in the Trump campaign!  There is NO denying that!  Because of that FACT, recusing himself from any investigations of the campaign was EXACTLY the right thing to do and he should be congratulated for having done so!

The dems, despite all their efforts, have barely laid a glove on the Trump administration and their window of opportunity for doing so is rapidly closing.

This is the smallest of small potatoes. Bottom line, it confirms him as a man of integrity. Where Trump should step up is make mention of Holder, Lynch, Lerner, Koskinen, Hillary....and any  number of other criminals that demand Jeff's attention.

Throw in Elijah for good measure.

Actually Mike Pence should find an occasion to do that but, in general, I agree that it should be done.  Wouldn't hurt if a few congress critters chimed in on it as well!
