And this is why I say that the Trump crowd have become Alinskyites. They know Trump lies but don't care because like all proper Alinskyites "The ends justify the means".

Its something I would expect out of an atheist but I really have to wonder about the Trump supporters calling themselves Christians. They should ask themselves if they really and truly believe in final judgement or do they believe God has a blind spot that gives them a chance to atone as needed.

@Cripplecreek

Ok,so you are insane instead of merely stoopid.

Think you will get a Christmas card from the Bush compound?

In all fairnesss, folks, while @sneakypete and I have our moments of disagreement, this line of stuff isn't right. It is a personal attack, nonsense, and does nothing to bolster your arguments. Pull your comments and I'll pull mine. We're better than this, even in disagreement. Leave the Alinsky sh*t to the Liberals. Damnit, pete you should do better, too.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Screw Sneakypete and the trumpsters, they throw more ad hominems than anybody. Look at sneakypete's posts, nearly all personal attacks.

They get what's coming to them. No apologies here.

I don't have anybody on ignore but it should be obvious to anyone paying attention that I ignore the insignificant insect despite its steady string of pings looking to troll me.

As far as acting like democrats is concerned, "The democrats did/do it" seems to be the primary excuse of Trumpers. They've willfully joined the democrats in that cesspool whether they have the courage to admit it or not.

@Weird Tolkienish Figure I was just pointing out that, from over here in the cheapseats the play looked the same. In poo flinging fights, the poo flinging never quits when both sides are throwing it, and only slows to a crawl when one side quits throwing it back. Eventually, the other side runs low on poo.
Just mho. I think all of you are fully capable of making valuable points and find that while not always, nor at the same time, I often agree with all of you.

I've been saying they've done this all along.

Its a childish lowlife thing to do but the media keeps falling for it so neither side is innocent.

There has been speculation a lot of the leaks came from the top, both to mess with opponents but also to build the us versus them war with the media to make followers loyal via shared victimhood.

That could be. But if the administration has the porosity that is being attributed to it, there may have been a missed opportunity to ferret out leaks and discredit sources. What a waste.

It's just the first month in.  I imagine that Trump has so much piled on his plate right now that that (ferreting out the leakers) is the least of his worries right now.  I'm betting the issue will be dealt with, however, in good time.  Just think about how much crap there is to deal with currently with the incessant whining, moaning, bitching and attacks coming from the left.  It has to be a bit overwhelming.  At least, it would be for me.

Oh, the first 100 days are going to be busy, for sure. (The more you sweat in training the less you bleed in combat).
But as far as the attacks from the Left, he should have anticipated all of that and more. The unexpected support that few acknowledge are the Conservative NeverTrumpers who are laying off and seeing what he is doing (AKA: being "fair"), still sticking to the same principles and goals they ever had, and giving credit where credit is due when he gets it Right.

It is hard to implement any strategy, though, in any adversarial relationship (such as Trump vs Press), when your punches are telegraphed, and that strategy is revealed to the press before you can even announce your intentions. Those leaks are subterfuge by bureaucratic holdovers who need to get a real job. They should be, from day one, one of the targets of the administration, and while a few moles will survive, most could be cleaned up and agency payrolls reduced at the same time. That's a two-fer, in most cases.
Trump is, as we are told, a businessman. I have run my own business, and when the opportunity presents itself to kill two birds with one stone (efficiency), you  take it. I see that as a missed opportunity.

Yeah, I get that.  My point is.... due to his over-loaded platter currently, there will probably be many such 'missed opportunities' until things smooth out (assuming they ever do).  Sure, he should have anticipated the rampant obstructionism, resistance, hatred and all out attempt to destroy him and his presidency.  I would have.  You would have.  But then.... we're not Trump.

The Dems are using the Cloward-Piven tactics they used when Obi-won was in office, only against Trump. Obvious and easily predicted.

He (and the GOP) better get a clue or he will be paralyzed by that crap.

He, especially, should have a clue, it is the same tactic he used against Cruz in the primaries with well-timed scandals and attacks, designed to keep the Cruz campaign on the defensive.

After eight years of that nonsense from Obama and his minions, you'd think someone up there would have figured this stuff out. The full-court press is to be expected, and the Dems are masters of the tactic.

That IS what they are. They have already done more whining about Trump in the 6 weeks or so he has been in office than they did about Obomber in office for 8 years.

I don't care if they whine Pete, but petty personal attacks don't do much to advance the discussion, and reflect badly on the poster and the forum. We're better than that here, I think, and can at least disagree like adults.

He should spend less golfing and attacking the media, that would give him time to "get things done".

But those are his favorite things.
