Marching in 'pus sy' hats, vagina costumes, entire groups of Liberals who DEFINE themselves by either confusion about or the things they do with their genitalia and you think Conservatives are the ones obsessed?

Because they proclaim they use their genitalia in a certain way, people can put a baker out of business for not baking them a cake, or get a florist fined for not selling them flowers and they claim "protected status" because of the way they use their genitalia?

Wow, just wow. How much DO they pay you?

Permit me to suggest you might be a "disaffected Christian" because you have not only abandoned moral principle but simply aren't walking the walk. You aren't even talking the talk.
Yep. That'd be 'disaffecting' all right.

Yes, Jesus taught forgiveness, it is his raison d'etre, but he also teaches repentance. Without the latter, the former is used by some as some sort of hall pass, allowing them license to do whatever, and that is 180 degrees out from the intent. "Go forth, and sin no more" was the admonition, not "If it feels good, do it".

All a person has to do to find an obsession with genitalia is google gay pride parade.  This image says it all.

Many children at these events.  Disgusting displays of obsession with perversion and unbridled sex.  Even paraded in front of innocent eyes.

As for my gay relative.  He has a long time partner.  They wear rings.  I was never invited to any ceremony.  We have a mutual respect for each other.  I pray for him.  He knows how I feel and still loves me for it.  We have family gettogether's.  His partner is nice and we don't talk about his homosexual life.  We eat turkey and talk about family memories.  Mutual respect.

The Bible is for me and how I need to live my life.  My problem with marriage is that you cannot change the meaning of marriage.  I don't approve of displays of indecency in public.  We have decency laws which are overlooked so that people like the guy in the image above can parade his genitalia in front of everyone.  He should be arrested for public indecency.

Yea best of luck with that. The good thing that has come from this particular tender moment is that lots of people got a good look at what you're really about and won't be making the mistake of buying into your liberal empowerment campaign.

Heh...heh....heh...

.... liberal empowerment campaign.....

Excellent description of what Jazzy's been attempting.

I find it completely disgusting that someone can stand here day after day spouting verbatim leftist dogma against the Constitution, Conservatives and Christianity and not be loudly refuted by the entire forum. Yes, several/a growing number of us are vigilant and don't let him get away with his nose under tent BS, but it is indicative as to how many more are willing to sit quietly and allow liberalism/liberal ideas within their ranks. That actually disgusts me more than he or his comments do.

FWIW, there are a bunch of us who only get a chance to see whats going on in this forum every now and then. I agree with you wholeheartedly about posters who are either lying about being conservatives, don't really understand what conservatism is vs. populism, or think they are conservative even though they really are libertarian. I do appreciate your and others attempts to identify the trolls.

You apparently see life as a political argument.  I don't.  I see life as a responsibility and naturally a woman should respect life.  It isn't a political act....  Abortion.  It is killing human life.  Murder of an innocent human being.  We have separated ourselves from common decency and the ability to appreciate life.  Viewing carrying a baby as a inconvenience that a woman should be able to terminate life.  No rights to the life inside her living and deserving of a chance to live.

We don't treat animals with that kind of disrespect.  It an absence of good.

There are people who have survived abortion.

LB, please don't be like so many social conservatives, obsessed with genitalia.   I said my friends, who happen to be gay, lead quite, honest, productive and virtuous lives.   And in fact they do -  they have good jobs,  care about their community, treat family with honor and respect,  help others, and approach the glass of life as half-full.

Why is the only thing that matters how they knock boots?

This is why I'm a disaffected Christian.  I'm ashamed of the bigotry, cruelty and judgementalism; the refusal to look behind the label to the person inside.   Good people are good people, LB.   Whether they're gay or straight, it makes no difference.   Yes, LB, my friends have the highest of moral standards.   I see it.  I'll bet my bottom dollar that God sees it too.

I doubt I will ever return to the church, LB, because of attitudes like yours, Norm's, and INVAR's.   My respect for Jesus Christ precludes it.

This is the drivel of those that stand outside looking in, claiming to know, when in reality they don't even know what they are looking at.

I really doubt you know The Gospel.

Christians know homosexuality is a sin. It is not something we should promote, or proclaim, as a natural healthy lifestyle that God wants us to be engaged in. We should be at the ready to help anyone who mistakenly entered into that lifestyle to get the help needed to break away from it. There is nothing healthy, or wholesome, in someone being afflicted with same sex attraction disorder and claiming that those that are so afflicted have the "highest moral standards" only makes the problem worse.

I'm sure the people in Sodom thought they were of the "highest moral standards" and that their behavior was "normal" but it wasn't. We know this because Scripture tells us so.

Anyone who proudly states twice that Homosexuality is virtuous, is no follower of Christ despite their claim.  Jazzy does not believe in the Bible.  He believes in the god of his own imagination and his own reasoning, not the God revealed in scripture.

As Norm pointed out - Jazzhead is on the opposite side of just about every single Conservative and Christian principle the rest of us on this board are governed by.  His disdain of Christianity and the bible is already well documented in his vociferous efforts to justify and advocate for infanticide, homosexuality, government tyranny and Islam.

Jazzhead also admitted he doesn't go to church.  Lots of people call themselves Christians.  Humanism claims to be Christian too.

This closely matches the things that Jazzhead says he believes.  It has nothing to do with the Bible:

It regards humanist principles like universal human dignity and individual freedom and the primacy of human happiness as essential and principal components of, or at least compatible with, the teachings of Jesus. Christian humanism can be seen as a philosophical union of Christian ethics and humanist principles.

Was made popular by Jim Wallis and Tony Compolo of the Red letter Sojourners - two Leninist/Marxists who insist Jesus and the Sermon on the Mount is a manifesto for Socialism.  Obama entreated both of them in his regime, and their true Gospel is Marxism - similar to what Jazzhead here espouses in terms of homosexual advocacy, abortion rights, ObamaCare and Islam - he also shares the same hatred of biblical Christian Conservatives who he, (and the Sojourners) call bigots.

Those people have declared war on the Biblically adherent and have created a crusade to 'rescue Christianity from the Right', because they insist it was born from Socialism.

Jazzhead is either a proselyte of their doctrines or a wannabe.  They sound virtually identical on the issues Jazzy attempts to inject on the forum as 'Conservative virtue'.

Basset or Beagle?

The child unit just lucked into a rescue Basset. 6 years, female and fixed. Ears and sag for days. Shockingly it is the classic/stereotype hush puppy. Mellow as hell and howls like a banshee. .. Er I mean 'sings with a lovely musical voice.' Her other Basset is from show stock. Lucked into that one as well as a puppy. Cheap but it's suicidal. She's spent a fortune at the vet saving it from it's poor life choices. 5 years and is more the AKC textbook type. No sag, 'normal (for a Basset) ears and an attention whore. She can't go to the bathroom without him going into panic attacks.

Beagle. Nothing better than trying (and usually failing) to keep up with the pack without destroying too many hedges or coming off more than 3 times! I can ride with three hunts - two through the regiment and one because the Master of Hounds is an old schoolmate - without much fuss. Just pick up the phone and show up the day of the hunt. Someone will have a horse and a spare for me. My own horse's hunting days are long behind him, sadly. He's still one hell of a jumper and has a sweetly homicidal temper, but doesn't have the stamina for more than a mile or so riding now.

Your lass sounds like she got a deal there!

Obsessed with genitalia?  Maybe you should direct that more appropriately---to the homosexual activists who can't think past their crotches and whose lives and identities are defined by their sexual practices.

The Jesus you speak of, second figure of the Trinity and God in flesh, wouldn't disagree with the New Testament warnings against homosexuality.  That would be impossible, since He is the God who inspired the text.  I wonder if that makes you respect Him less.

I think you should go and find another thread to participate in because a lot of us are sick of this liberal troll calling us bigots for articulating long held conservative doctrine.

Besides, the next thread he does this on will just garner the same response. So if you want to have TBR develop a reputation for closing threads that trigger the sensitive, keep calling for threads to be closed.

That's what you think.  But religion is an institution of man, not God.

Religion is not a prerequisite to faith.

@Jazzhead spoken like a true liberal rationalist.

It looks to me that @Jazzhead keeps the religion idiocy coming because he's hoping that the thread gets locked or pulled because the powers that be arent big on religious debate here.

He can't win this argument because Transgender is a mental issue, just as homosexuality is a mental issue. Neither of which even require a religious component to show that over 96% of the population cannot, should not and will not bow down to in matters of law, faith or morality.

@Jazzhead is constantly complaining about bigots and bullies and such, however if we set the wayback machine, we see article after article throughout the media over a span of decades with homosexuals and their supporters telling the world that they simply want to be left alone to do their thing. that they didn't want special rights. that they didn't want to control the beliefs of religions or anything of the sort.

In reality, much like Rubio speaking to a Mexican audience, they were saying one thing to the world and another to their own people. And then they began acting on it, doing the exact opposite throughout government, religion and business. Today, 96% of the population in America is very much held hostage from the 'progressive' demands of the homosexual and now Transexual lobby who use their genitalia as a legal battering ram.

Instead of supporting that, conservatives want to bypass the category error of apologetics like Jazzhead and address the root cause of the entire issue. These people have a mental illness that causes them to partake in activities that are a danger to themselves and others because of AIDS and other diseases that resort in horrible deaths, and the loss of rights, freedoms and liberty of heterosexual Americans...the 96% of the population mentioned above.

They need help, not empowerment. But if they refuse that help, they should not be given power they do not have, legally or governmentally, to dictate the functioning of an entire nation. And if that causes them and special snowflake SJW types to scream bloody murder, we should all be fine with that. What we shouldn't be fine with is helping them continue their farce.

What they imagine or wish him to be has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Christ of the Christian Scriptures.

What they imagine or wish him to be has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Christ of the Christian Scriptures.

They also make up their own Constitution/Bill of Rights. they rewrite whatever is needed to make their agenda acceptable. Thats how Jesus gets assigned to working the return desk heaven to deal with all the babies murdered by omen exercising their liberty. After all, they arent actually people in the liberal mind so there's no issue. And women MUST be free to choose! Because thats what conservatives believe in. Liberty and personal freedom.

Likewise for men in the ladies room. Homophobes imprisoned for refusing to be enslaved over desert food toppings deserved their fate as the law is the law. And damn the bigots that want walls and restrictions on the free passage of world citizens through America. The constitution guarentees Islamics the right to fully exercise their full Sharia beliefs. This also ties in to the conservative view on firearms which as we all know is that the second amendment isn't about the right to bear arms at all. Only extremists equate the 2A in that manner. So gun sales/use must be severely curtailed if not eliminated outright for the safety of all around these extremists. Now get back to work because if the young boy raped by the homosexual pedo can't afford his AIDS drugs, it's your personalresponsibility to pay for the pedo's and his victim's medical treatment. Where's your compassion?

As crazy as that is to think about, this is how and what liberals actually think. Then imagine that this one thinks that people on a conservative site are going to buy into it.

That is an excellent secular argument, and at one time not long ago in this country, homosexuality and other deviant behaviors were classified as a mental disorder.

That said, you and I both know that the actual root cause is spiritual.   They are a spiritual disorder.  A culture drowning in permissiveness, porn and the gospel of instant self-gratification being preached every single day by our entertainment, our education system, our government and our lukewarm churches has defined deviancy down to the point that when someone is exposed to perversion - instead of feeling shame for aberrancy, society is demanding celebration and recognition of the deviancy.

We've completely lost our moral anchors - and civilizations collapse when that happens, to thunderous applause.

Jazz, I appreciate your input and obviously you see me as judgemental.  My attitude is that of a Christian (nope, not holier than thou for sure) in viewing those that go against the teachings of the Bible in their choice of their sexuality. Again, the Bible clearly condemns homosexuality, I'm merely questioning how you can see your friends/relatives who are LGTB as having high morals. Perhaps they have high ethics in every other aspect of their lives, but their sexuality IS a moral issue. Not judging; as that is clearly not my place; God is the judge.  Yes, good people are good people, whether they be straight or gay; however those that are LGTB morally go against the teachings of the Bible.  It is behavior that if flaunted, I take offense to. Without doubt, there are immoral straight people who cheat on their spouses left and right.  There are straight people who do not have a good standard of living and lie, steal, and take advantage of those less fortunate.

My problems isn't so much their lifestyle as long as they keep it in their own tent (I think those were the words you selected)...when they impose, what I consider their immorality on me,  and demand that the government recognize gay marriages, LGTB bathrooms, and forcing others to accept what goes against religious or moral values, that's is when it becomes a problem for me.  That would be like some making your LGBT friends accept bestiality or incest and demanding that the government put laws in place to accommodate that lifestyle.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

"Sometimes I think the Church would be better off if we would call a moratorium on activity for about six weeks and just wait on God to see what He is waiting to do for us. That's what they did before Pentecost."   - A. W. Tozer

Use the time God is giving us to seek His will and feel His presence.

I am wondering Emjay why you would put yourself out there on a thread you didn't even participate on?  If you didn't like it you could simply not join the discussion.  I know the subject is a harsh reality in our society.  People are passionate about these things.

I love homosexuals and the Bible isn't for people who don't choose to accept Gods Word over their life.  My freedom to believe Gods Word is true and not to waver from that truth is every bit as important as Gays to live their life the way they want.

I opened up about my family.  I think we had an open and honest discussion.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.
