Former President George W. Bush is unveiling a book "honoring the sacrifice and courage of America’s military veterans," which features 66 full-color portraits and a four-panel mural of wounded U.S. military he has come to know.

The oil paintings and stories of the wounded veterans since Sept. 11 were produced by the 43st U.S. president himself in the book "Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief's Tribute to America's Warriors,"  which will be released Tuesday and is available on Amazon.com.

Meh, titles are strange beasts.

About 25 years ago I wrote a novella. 6 years ago I passed it to my 5 regular pre-readers to see if it was worth revisiting and expanding into a novel. All six immediately emailed me: "You can't call it that!"

The title? A Tale of Ice and Fire.  :tongue2:

Waiting for the Bush haters to attack........3........2.........1 Like the one who attacked the Bush's parenting because their daughter is pro abortion, but seemingly has no problem with a certain current POTUS's daughter being pro abortion. :shrug:

I was working out yesterday and forced to watch NBC news.  They had Bush and 4 wounded Vets on and it was inspiring.  On the other hand, he seems now to be siding with the democrats on Trump while saying virtually nothing about Imam Obama during 8 disastrous years.  I'm cooling on him as a politician but admire him for his work with veterans.

And then I attacked Bush for suddenly deciding to quit his moratorium on commenting on Presidents by criticizing Trump. Stick to the painting and supporting the troops George, it's your safe place to be.
