American College of Pediatrics reaches decision: Transgenderism of children is child abuse

The American College of Pediatricians issued a statement this week condemning gender reclassification in children by stating that transgenderism in children amounts to child abuse.

“The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex. Facts – not ideology – determine reality.”

The policy statement, authored by Johns Hopkins Medical School Psychology Professor Paul McHugh, listed eight arguments on why gender reclassification is harmful.

Now, because I have been around the debate wars before on issues like this, if one was talking to someone who was for all of these transgender rights or in general, a liberal, they would say

"Yes, but the American College of Pediatrics is not a scholarly organization, it's a political organization".   That this report was signed by a professor at John Hopkins University nevertheless, has to be seen as impressive.

Yea but Snopes article is pretty one sided in their classification. The Southern Poverty Law Center lists them as a 'hate group' so they must exist enough to cause serious stress for libs. Whether they are of consequence is another matter though.

It may be the BizPac Review headline is wrong but this is clearly by the American College of Pediatricians.

The BizPac headline is wrong, that may be about all, the American College of Pediatricians seemed to still issue this statement.

It's kind of confusing now; so don't worry about it. Because I've heard of them before, I'm saying they do exist.
