Conservatives in France, if it lasts long enough, could benefit from Obama.
Republicans sure did. In 2008 at the start of his term the dems held the Presidency, the House and the Senate majorities.
At the end of his second term, they held none of the above AND had lost ground with Governorships, and state legislatures.
