White House Deputy Chief of Staff and #NeverTrump Republican Katie Walsh has been identified as the source behind a bunch of leaks from the Trump administration to The New York Times and other media outlets, according to multiple sources in the White House, media, donor community, and pro-Trump 501(c)4 political group.

“Everyone knows not to talk to her in the White House unless you want to see it in the press,” says a source close to the president. “The only question is whether or not she’s doing it at the behest of [White House Chief of Staff] Reince Priebus or if she’s doing it to advance herself in DC media circles.”

I would say so. Bannon and Reince are the two power centers in the Trump admin. Bannon wants Reince out so he can bring in all his alt-right and Breitbart cronies.

Maybe. Or maybe it's just the standard Rinse and Co.s MO, because this is exactly what they have done for years now to torpedo any conservative or anyone else that obstructed/threatened the GOP establishment.

Personally I think Rinse finally bit off more than he could chew and if Trump takes him out to the pasture, thats fine by me. Long overdue regardless of who gets the credit. Personally I think Trump was stupid to hire him on the first place.

Never employ or elect a RINO. Ever. They only knife you when it's most beneficial to the left to do it.

That is a strange website, don't think I would trust this to be true.  The woman worked with Priebus on the National committee so he brought her along as his right hand "man".  I can believe there are emails between them during the campaign about how to knock out Trump because he was on the bottom of the list the Republicans wanted.  I don't think Priebus would write anything now to dump Trump; that makes no sense since Priebus now has a cushy job with plenty of salary.

If she is the leaker, it will become public news soon.

As a side note, Unnamed sources are often, though not always, the reporter themselves or one of their fellow travelers giving them cover. I wish I had a dollar for every time I edited an article that had some version of 'unnamed sources' or 'some people believe/say/etc.' When the confronted writer said to my face '"I'm a 'people' and it's what I believe so I'm not lying."

Interesting because Katie was a Trump loyalist. Looking back at her Twitter, she also seems to be friends with Trump's kids. At that, on her twitter way back in March, she was going after Ryan and Rubio with a fervor defending Trump, including some of the tabloid smear type stuff.

I suspect this is either fake news, she became disillusioned, or maybe some of the leaks were sanctioned on purpose and she was doing what she thought her boss wanted.
