A Facebook video of a family greeting their loved one’s casket draped in an American flag went viral on Thursday.
Warrant Officer 1 Shawn Thomas was a Green Beret stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife and four children.
Facebook user Lisa West Williams posted the video on Feb. 14.
“It was an honor to fly home with this PATRIOT! God bless his wife and family. There was not a dry eye around me,” she wrote.
Thomas was buried at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday.
