Six White House staffers were shown the door after failing their FBI background checks Thursday morning, Politico reports.

Yeah, and it depends on the position...but you gotta wonder what made them get yanked today, but are fine elsewhere in the Administration.

Pleased that the administration is respecting background checks - though since the background check is public domain (warning, it's 127 pages long .... ) I'm surprised that the senior staffer affected (Ms. Wiles) wasn't pre-vetted by the campaign. No real excuse not to have done that.
