Another one who wants an echo chamber.

Are your eyes brown?

This article is about Chuck Todd saying that Trump delegitimized the media!

That is an impossibility because they had already done that to themselves LONG before Trump ever appeared on the political scene.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Why do idiots who have fallen for Trump think those who oppose him are leftists?

It's the most ridiculous argument I've ever seen on political forums.

We have to be in love with Trump and not criticize him to be conservative now?   :silly:

How about the fact that, on this forum at least, those who opposed him in the primary and during the campaign did so because Trump was, IN FACT, a liberal?

Do those of you who accuse non-Trump people of missing Obama or of being paid by Hillary have ANY functioning brain cells whatsoever?

If you do, then you certainly can't call yourselves honest or conservative.

That is an inappropriate response to what WTF said.

There is an overt effort to silence criticism of Trump, and you now seem to be part of it.

BIG disappointment, Bigun.......     **nononono*

I hope you're enjoying yourself because you're irritating the hell out of me.

Go adopt a couple of teenagers, then you'll know the real meaning of irritation...lol.

The echo chamber is at TOS. I just left a thread where they're excoriating Harward for turning down Trump. Wasn't enough that he served 40 years in the Navy. Who'd want to give up their life to work in any administration in Washington?

There is a difference between LEGITIMATE criticism of something and criticism just for the sake of criticism.  I have the ability to tell the difference.  Do you?

Just heard an interview with two biographers who wrote books about Trump.  They both agreed, said he "lives in chaos, has all his life, chaos is normal to him."  That is what I have been saying for all these months.  Every day he creates chaos, attacking groups/individual people.  It is chaos every day and will be every day he is president.  When he became a candidate, he began attacking every day and he still is and always will.  Chaos is his name.  I don't see how the country can survive four years of every day chaos.

One of the biographers said an interesting thing.  He said Trump has never been in charge of a large project except one - he said the one big one was the casino and he ran it in the ground.  What he has done, the biographer said, is sell his name to put on buildings and run the operation of the building.  He doesn't own any of the buildings.  They say that is why he won't release a tax return, because he is not worth the many billions he says he is.  Those biographers had no reason to lie.  They were matter of fact, telling what each one learned when they interviewed him and wrote their individual books.  One had not conferred with the other when their books were written.

I'm watching Paul Ryan tell of the house plan schedules for the next 200 days, healthcare, tax plan, etc.  When he speaks of Trump, he looks down instead of looking Hannity in the eye.  If Trump doesn't blow every thing up, perhaps the House and Senate can get some laws passed that will be helpful for the country.

@Victoria33  - I want to encourage you to keep posting what you're finding and what you're reading.

There are those here who want to silence opposing views about Trump by ridicule or dismissal, but it is VERY important that they continue to be posted, especially considering the damage being done to conservatism.

So, THANK you!  :patriot:

Of course I do.

And your very question indicates that you are increasingly intolerant of those of us who don't agree with you about how wonderful Trump is.

Did these geniuses happen to explain how a man who lives in "chaos" managed to build a multi-billion dollar empire and win the Presidency of the United States?

Seems to me the truth is you don't have a damned clue because you can't stand anything less than rapturous worship of Trump.

You could not be any more wrong!  When Trump does something legitimately deserving of scorn I will be the leader of the pack. So far that hasn't happened. In fact, I have been greatly surprised by his performance thus far and hope that it continues!

We FINALLY have someone with the gonads to actually DO what we've been begging for and those who can't stand him personally can't get past their personal bias.  Can't see the forest for the trees!

Speaking only for myself, I couldn't care less about Trump the man, beyond how what happens to him helps or hurts our country.

IMO Trump has made some very encouraging moves so far. All of my complaints have to do with style and thats a subjective matter and neither here nor there. Not to say he's not going to disappoint in some ways - I expect him to. Still he's an immense improvement over what could've been.

At this point I believe that if the media is successful in kicking the legs out from under his administration effectively regaining the initiative for those who've steered the country into the mess its currently in, which they are clearly trying to do, it will be very bad for the nation.

Unless you can explain what good for America might come from this constant knee-jerk criticism from some here, thats neither edifying nor useful, it'll continue to look to me like kvetching for its own sake.

Some of us are tired of the whining from you folks. Nit picking about the way he talks, tweets and the way he handles the press is a bore. Point to me the exact policies that Donny is enacting that are garbage. You said in an earlier post that the opposition here to him during the Primary, which I was part of, over him being a closet Lib. Now that the rubber has met the road, show me where he has done any of the things we thought he would do.

Maybe at some point people will come to understand that Trump IS the president whether or not they like it!

Think I'll send F Chuck an email, suggesting he consider an important quote from The Leaders Handbook (I recall it as the Platoon Leaders Handbook):

As a leader, you are responsible for everything your unit/organization does, or fails to do.

F Chuck has never taken responsibility for his miscues at NBC News/Meet the Press. It's high time he reflects on his past performance.

Come on guys.   Even those that are die-hard Trump haters have to admit that he has the idiot left and pressholes running around squealing like stuck pigs.  And that's a GOOD thing.  Funny as hell, in fact.

The fact that they have de-legitimized themselves over the past decade or two is undeniable.  Let's at least celebrate that he has the left reeling.  JS....

Trump is already a diminished man. The press conference today was amusing in parts, but I think your average joe will simply just tune Trump out over the next few years. This usually happens to Presidents further down the line, 6-7 years.

Eventually the press will too.
Hmmmm....I disagree.  I'm not a Trump supporter....never liked the guy....BUT....I enjoyed the heck out of that press conference.  It was nice to see the media get slammed.
