I wonder what the legal liability risk is for individual people to act on this. For example, if a Custom's agent follows the guidline of the 9th Circuit and not the administration, could he face personal sanctions by the administration. And vice versa.
At this point, it won't be Trump going ahead with it, it will be the individual departments in charge of enacting the EO making this decision. Trump already made his EO, the latest court made their ruling, the departments have to decide which way to go. This isn't something they can just 'wait and see'.
This is why he should declare it an official national security issue, get a FISA ruling and arrest anyone interfering under sedition regs.
First, it actually IS a matter of national security
Second, the Constitution grants him the clear authority
The Congress should immeadiately drop everything and get to work dismantling the current liberal controlled federal courts and reestablishing them as fair arbiters of the law. AKA Fire the most leftist of the judges/those with records of judicial advocacy.
This too is 100% within the constitutional authority of congress and the exec.
Stop F'ing around with this mess and govern like a constitutional majority.
