Good point. Obama, that constitutional scholar, assumed all the power to enact law and Congress be damned! It wasn't right when he did it, and it wouldn't be right if Trump did it. Heaven forbid these editorialists actually be consistent in their criticism, though.
Asking for consistency among some editorialists and their headline writers* is like asking for
restraint when a barracuda decides it's dinner time.
(* - Always be wary of headlines. Headline writers are notorious for attaching headlines
to articles or columns that aren't always the most accurate summary of what the article or
column actually says. I know, because I was victimised by such headline writing when I was
a small city/regional newspaper reporter in the late 1980s/early 1990s. I'd see a headline
attached to one of my stories when the paper came out each afternoon and I wouldn't
recognise the story until I actually re-read it.)
