So we are no better than Putin's Russia?
O’Reilly: “Putin’s a killer”
Trump: “There are a lot of killers. We’ve got a lot of killers. What do you think—our country’s so innocent?”
Lenhart: "Well, He's not wrong."
You: "So we are no better than Putin's Russia?"
Someone needs to que up the kids song "One of these things is not like the other." Because I don't know how denying reality gets one to being Russias equal.
Perhaps some special snowflake would like to explain to me how the hundreds of murders already in Chicago, to say nothing of Detroit, Memphis and NY/LA arent really done by 'killers'. Or how the actions of the Klan, John Wilkes Booth/Lee Harvey Oswald, the CIA with projects like Tuskeege/MK Ultra and all the mysterious deaths surrounding Bill and Hillary clinton...along with those surrounding/leading up to the election of Barak Obama (anyone seen that gay church buddy of his lately?)
I am FAR from Trump's biggest fan. But it is absurd for people to deny the truth. And the truth is that we have discussed all the above on this very site on many, many occasions. Especially when the pearl clutchers have themselves took part in those conversations.
So until someone wants to post something where Trump actually comes out and says something that even hints at moral equivalence to Russia, perhaps some people should spend that time deciding if they are more interested in dealing with the facts of history or finding reasons to oppose the guy that don't hold a lot of water.
There are a couple other points that should be noted. The United States not only partnered with Russia, but it did so when Russia was at it's worst. WHY we did does not matter and arguing it is in fact arguing FOR moral equivalence. We did. Right or wrong. End of.
And secondly, All of you may note that all the death, destruction and carnage from all of the above was carried out by one group of people. Leftists. Whether smug little gang bangers screaming about black supremacy in 'Da' Hood' or FDR and his fine feathered libs in DC. I bring that up for one reason. Because they are all people that do not deal in realities. They create fantasy worlds where their version of the truth is the only one that matters.
Just sayin'.
