Homeland Security suspends travel ban

President Donald Trump's government moved swiftly Saturday to comply with a federal judge's order halting his immigration ban -- even as Trump denounced the judge.

The Department of Homeland Security announced it has suspended all actions to implement the immigration order and will resume standard inspections of travelers as it did prior to the signing of the travel ban.

Also, a State Department official told CNN the department has reversed the cancellation of visas that were provisionally revoked following the President's executive order last week -- so long as those visas were not stamped or marked as canceled.

The State Department has said fewer than 60,000 visas were revoked since the signing of the order. It was not immediately clear how many from that group will continue to be without their visas because their visas were physically canceled.

Following the judge's ruling -- and before the government's announcements Saturday morning -- the International Air Transportation Association, a worldwide airline industry trade group, cited US Customs and Border Protection in telling its members to follow procedures "as if the executive order never existed."

Well, I guess that since judges seem to have this under control, we will have to invade those countries Normandy style to prevent them from coming here. Great job liberals! You just ensured world warfare.

I am thinking this is a tactic by Trump to establish the meme that he will bend over backwards to respect the process,  even when it is utterly wrong. 


He's trying to establish that he will operate within the scope of legitimacy,   even to the extent that he will grant the other side the benefit of the doubt. 


Obama would have told the Federal Judge to go F*** himself and ordered Homeland security to enforce the executive order. 


Trump will win this and the Judge will lose this,  and it will likely only cost us a few days.

Hopefully. though I still say he should simply declare it a national security issue as it is and have the Justice Dept charge these leftist judges with treason. Because it is.

The left is going to spin any pro American/Pro safety of Americans move as evil. There are no hearts and minds to win that are not firmly pro leftist or Pro America. To me the time for stagecraft is over and the time to govern in our interest is here.

  That's pretty much the way I see it.  The liberal mental midgets just put a bigger price tags on each of our backs.  Thank God our 2nd amendment right is still in tact and we are the most armed nation in the entire world.
