Quote
President Donald Trump threatened in a phone call with his Mexican counterpart to send U.S. troops to stop "bad hombres down there" unless the Mexican military does more to control them, according to an excerpt of a transcript of the conversation obtained by The Associated Press....

Mexico's foreign relations department denied that account, saying it "is based on absolute falsehoods," and later said the statement also applied to the excerpt provided to AP.

Even the Mexicans are calling this half assed story, mysteriously relying on excerpted transcripts, as garbage.

Keep up the excellent work AP as usual.

I know the article is intended to make the readers recoil in disgust but I kinda like the idea of the president telling the Mexican narcocracy that they'd better get a grip or we'll clean things up for them.

A hundred years ago Americans wouldn't have batted an eye.

I like the concept too. I just don't like the AP playing their games with whatever happened.

How about news outlets just giving the full details of what happened and let me make up my own mind?

Even Drudge headlined this in red. (still main topic)

Unacceptable. Cannot run the risk of you arriving at the wrong conclusion.

Texas Rangers been doing it for almost 200 years.

We took over from the Indians, who apparently failed in their mission.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

We oughta re-arm the indian nations and establish a military alliance with them. They're probably as p*ssed off about our current immigration non-policies as we are.
