Barring an Obama-scale treasonous act by Trump, I just don't see it happening. But then, none of us can know what the future may bring. Trump could screw up or could be set up by the radical left. I'm not really expecting either at least for the next four years of Trump's presidency. Don't ask me why I believe that. It's just a gut feeling. But... after that...anything is possible.
I don't see it happening either, and I think (maybe hope) that Trump goes to greater lengths to make sure something is "legal" than people may realize. For example, we made sure that the conflicts of interest laws were "legal" (his words) for a President to have interests around the world. I don't think he cares much about the spirit of the law so much as the letter (which is why his base likes him).
Of course, if Trump did something Nixon-like, as I said, the GOP wouldn't be at great pains to take him out, he's not really that popular, and probably won't be for a while, and they'd get Pence.
Another thing: Trump has too much to lose to risk an impeachment.
Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part? Impeachment and removal of a president has never happened in this nation and I hope it never does.
