Among other things, the upcoming conference has a goal to create the basis for an international agreement on “safe, orderly and regular migration.”

The likely choice for the special advisor job, Fox News was told, is Louis Arbour, a former Canadian Supreme Court Justice and U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, who also sits as an ad hoc judge on the controversial U.N.-sponsored International Criminal Court—another Trump Administration bugaboo...
The upcoming 2018 conference, in archtypal U.N. fashion, is the product of yet another U.N. conference on the same subject that was held in September last year, hosted by the Obama Administration.
