the Air Force], New York State's Mid-Hudson Valley, northeastern Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C. [I worked as
a Heritage Foundation researcher for a year], northern
and southern California, a brief [one year] spell
in Louisville, Kentucky, and have lived ten years and counting in Las Vegas. Around all that, there are only
eleven U.S. states I haven't visited at least once.)
